Yes, Periyar participated in Vaikom movement for dalits entry. Agreed. But 'most of periyar activities for dalits' is a big question mark.

Then why could Periyar not change the mindset of powerful OBCs in TN to patronise dalits?
Vaikom was a old one but the kandadevi episode is happening every 2 years between thevars and dalits. What did MK do to solve it? No party is touching the issue because of vote bank. As a Dravidian leader, MK should have punished the guys who are involved in kandadevi. He was just sitting and watching the fun.

Dear Bhagawan Singh, Most of the People of TN do not know much about other side of Periyar alis EV Ramaswami Nayykar. He had two faces, if want the truth read the Book written by his ownmen, Periyarien Maru Pakkam, where the author says EVR was a Womeniser and he had no respect for them. It is all a Cock and bull story created by DMK and thier men as if Periyar fought for Social Justice, he said Tamizan oru Kattumeriandi, Tamiz Oru kattumeriadi Language,Tamizan oru Muttal. He also told Dr.Ambedkar to Convert into Islam, that he wanted himself to become a Muslim, and he also asked Dr,Ambedkar to do so, and Dr.Ambedkar refused and said if i do then Indian in future will go to dogs. If this is Periyar a Atheist?. There are so many instances that Periyar was a Cheat, one such incident,  he said he is Proud to be a Kanndian, as he belongs to Karnataka.
